The Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri was on Monday sworn into office for a second term in office.
Professor Kaletapwa Farauta was also swore into office as deputy Governor of Adamawa.
In his inaugural speech, Governor Umaru Fintiri thanked the people of Adamawa for giving him another mandate.
He promised to consolidate on the achievements so far recorded by his administration for the betterment of the people.
He said his administration will in the second term pursue eight point agenda that include security, health, environment, education, mass transportation among others.
Governor Fintiri saluted the electoral umpire, civil society Organisations and the press for ensuring peaceful elections.
The celebration which held at Mahmud Ribadu Square Yola was attended by Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar among others.
The State Chief Judge, Justice Hafsat Abdulrahman administered the oath of office on Fintiri and Farauta.
